The corn snake is a prolific species, and as such is not currently at risk. Although in some states wildlife is protected, it is not considered vulnerable
Description and other information:
The most common species of snake in the pet trade, the corn is favoured for its docile disposition and its small size. In captivity it is slectivly bred to form colour and pattern variations know as morphs.
